SJVN has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company has reported 7.67% fall in its net profit at Rs 521.87 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 565.24 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 5.81% at Rs 944.50 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 1002.75 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
SJVN is a joint venture between the Central government and Himachal Pradesh state government. The company owns and operates India’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh.
