Hero MotoCorp, country’s largest two-wheeler maker reported 6.66% increase in its sales for April at 5,51,557 units against 5,17,099 units during the same month last year. Company’s last month sales have surpassed previous highest monthly sales of 5,49,625 units in September 2011.

Recently, Hero MotoCorp has inked pact with world's largest privately-owned engine developer, AVL of Austria for developing in-house capabilities to make its own engines.
