Borosil Glass directed to surrender Mumbai land to MCGM

The Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, Mumbai Suburban has asked the Borosil Glass Works to surrender a vacant land admeasuring 4,237 square meter located at J. B. Nagar, Andheri East, Mumbai in state of Maharashtra on December 16, 2016, for the purpose of recreation ground against a compensation amount of Rs 94.44 crore out of which the company is required to pay to Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) Rs 3.56 crore towards cost of training of Nalla on the said land by them.

The said land was reserved by MCGM in their Development Plan for the purpose of recreation ground. The company is in the process of obtaining the copy of the award, on receipt of which it will decide whether to accept the same or not.
