Paints and coatings manufacturer Akzo Nobel has acquired the Industrial Coatings Business of BASF India for a consideration of Rs 11.17 crore. Earlier, the company had received fair trade regulator, Competition Commission of India’s (CCI) approval to acquire the industrial coatings business of BASF.
AkzoNobel India (previously known as ICI India) is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of paints, speciality chemicals and adhesives.
