Tata Chemicals installs two facilities at Mithapur complex in Gujarat

Tata Chemicals has installed a pump-testing bed and a bearing installation room at its Mithapur complex in Gujarat. The company has installed these facilities mainly to improve the reliability and efficiency of the 73-year-old plant. These were installed along with an in-house design implementation.

While the pump-testing bed will help in checking various parameters for the functioning of pumps that is vibration, flow, head and load before installation, the bearing installation room is installed to provide dust-free operation in fitting of bearings at the plant.
