Essel Propack gains on plan to raise Rs 20 crore through Commercial Papers

Essel Propack is currently trading at Rs 250.40, up by 3.40 points or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 247.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 249.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 250.40 and Rs. 248.05 respectively. So far 296 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 264.30 on 30-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 132.50 on 20-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 253.85 and Rs. 239.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3933.82 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.35% and 25.62% respectively.

Essel Propack is raising funds through issue of Commercial Papers (CPs) for Rs 20 crore on private placement basis. The company will raise funds on December 26, 2016. The interest will be paid on maturity and the papers will be not listed on the stock exchanges. Further, the CPs for Rs 25 crore has been redeemed by the company.

Essel Propack is the largest specialty packaging company in India. The company operates through 25 state-of-the-art facilities in 13 countries.
