Hero MotoCorp, country’s largest two-wheeler maker, in order to offset the rising input costs has hiked the prices of its products by up to Rs 1,000 with immediate effect. The company has raised most of its products in the range of Rs 500 to Rs 1,000. This new pricing is effective from May 02, 2012.
The company has registered a total turnover of Rs 23,579 crore led by sales of over 62,35,205 units in 2011-12 fiscal, as compared to Rs 19,397 crore reported for the previous financial year. During the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012, the company posted its highest-ever quarterly sales of 15,72,027 units.
