Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, has been conferred with ‘DSCI Excellence Award 2016’ for excellence in data security in energy sector - power by the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) at the NASSCOM-DSCI Annual Information Security Summit 2016 held in Gurugram.
The award is a result of multiple process implementation put together by Tata Power-DDL towards securing public infrastructure data in SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system, and strengthening the information system security.
