NHPC has signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in respect of up-coming projects Tawang-I and Tawang-II HE Project, Arunachal Pradesh on December 29, 2016 with Power & Electricity Department, Government of Mizoram for a period of 35 years from the date of commercial operation (COD) of the project.
NHPC is engaged in electricity generation. The company is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
