Syndicate Bank, public sector lender is likely to add 300 branches this year to drive its growth. It has opened 200 branches last year. Currently bank has over 2,700 branches, including 14 ultra-small branches.
Bank, which has 1,240 ATMs at present, aims to add 500 ATMs this year and order for 500 more vending machines has been placed.
Syndicate Bank is looking forward to open a back-end services office for the city. This office will help the bank in new account opening. In the back end services process after collecting the KYC details from the customers, branch officials have to upload the information to the back office, which will process the account-opening application.
