SpiceJet trades in green on the bourses

SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs. 65.70, up by 1.20 points or 1.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 64.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 65.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 66.10 and Rs. 64.65 respectively. So far 34,97,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 95.30 on 28-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 54.50 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 66.10 and Rs. 60.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,938.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.12% and 37.56% respectively.

SpiceJet, the country’s low-cost carrier, has clocked the highest industry OTP (On-time performance) at Delhi airport for December 2016. As per the data released by Delhi International Airport (DIAL), the developer of Delhi’s IGI Airport, this is the 3rd month in a row that SpiceJet has topped the OTP charts in Delhi.

With a score of 70 percent & 60 percent for departure and arrival respectively SpiceJet was at the top of the list on the critical industry parameter.

SpiceJet was among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector. The airline was launched with an objective to deliver the lowest air fares with the highest consumer value, to price sensitive consumers.
