Enkei Wheels surges on raising Rs 14.13 crore on preferential basis

Enkei Wheels (India) is currently trading at Rs. 182.00, up by 3.20 points or 1.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 178.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 179.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 185.80 and Rs. 178.10 respectively. So far 1401 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'XC' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 221.00 on 24-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 116.00 on 01-Mar-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 188.95 and Rs. 177.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 257.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.16%, while Non-Institutions held 31.84% stake in the company.

Enkei Wheels (India) has received an approval for allotment of 743,835 equity shares to its promoter Enkei Corporation, Japan on preferential basis at the price of Rs 190 (including premium of Rs 185) aggregating Rs 14.13 crore.

The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on January 16, 2017 has approved for the same. The shareholders of the company have already accorded their consent for this issue in their meeting held on January 07, 2017.

Enkei Wheels (India) manufactures and sells aluminum alloy castings wheels primarily for use in the automobile industry in India. It offers its products for two wheelers and four wheelers.
