Duke Offshore soars on bagging contract for its high speed crew boat

Duke Offshore is currently trading at Rs. 84.70, up by 1.95 points or 2.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 82.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 87.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 87.90 and Rs. 84.30 respectively. So far 14192 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'XD' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 95.50 on 13-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 43.65 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 87.90 and Rs. 79.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 41.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.61%, while Non-Institutions held 29.39%.

Duke Offshore has been awarded a contract for its high speed crew boat ‘Duke Command’. The vessel will operate on the west coast of India to support specialized operations to the Indian arm of a multinational corporation. The full charter contract will start with immediately effect.

Last year in September, the company had secured a long term contract for its new high speed patrol/crew boat ‘Duke Sprint’. Duke Sprint is a state of the art vessel recently imported from Singapore and will be on a full charter for a major multinational oil and gas company operating in India.
