NHPC’s TLDP-III (4 X 33) 132 MW Power Station in West Bengal has been completely restored on January 18, 2017 which was under complete shutdown for restoration work of GIS (Line-I Bay).
Earlier, the company had signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in respect of up-coming projects Tawang-I and Tawang-II HE Project, Arunachal Pradesh on December 29, 2016 with Power & Electricity Department, Government of Mizoram for a period of 35 years from the date of commercial operation (COD) of the project.
NHPC is engaged in electricity generation. The company is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
