United Bank of India trades in green on the bourses

United Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 21.10, up by 0.05 points or 0.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 21.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 21.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 21.15 and Rs. 20.80 respectively. So far 8,586 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 25.30 on 07-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 16.45 on 31-May-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 21.40 and Rs. 20.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,826.24 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 88.72%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.63% and 3.65% respectively.

United Bank of India (UBI) is reportedly planning to open 200 branches next fiscal, with focus on the central and western regions of the country. Of total, the bank is looking to open around 50 branches in January-March period in 2017.

At present, around 60 per cent of its total branch network is spread across eastern and north-eastern States.
