Federal Bank reports 26% rise in Q3 net profit

Federal Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The Bank has reported 26.38% rise in its net profit at Rs 205.65 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 162.72 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 21.99% at Rs 2544.75 crore for Q3FY17 as compared Rs 2086.07 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal improved to 2.77%, as compared to 3.15 % in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.58% in Q3FY17.
