HDFC Bank reports 15% rise in Q3 net profit

HDFC Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The Bank has reported 15.15% rise in its net profit at Rs 3865.33 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3356.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased 13.48% at Rs 20748.27 crore for Q3FY17 as compared to Rs 18283.31 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal increased to 1.05%, as compared to 0.97% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 0.32% in Q3FY17.
