Supreme Industries surges on reporting 20% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Supreme Industries is currently trading at Rs 927.15, up by 15.30 points or 1.68% from its previous closing of Rs 911.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 920.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 944.50 and Rs 919.00 respectively. So far 15616 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1023.00 on 22-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 649.00 on 24-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 944.50 and Rs 862.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 11838.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.71%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.26% and 22.02% respectively.

Supreme Industries has reported 21.97% rise in its net profit at Rs 93.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 76.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.84% at Rs 1110.53 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 992.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 20.15% rise in its net profit at Rs 100.80 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 83.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.55% to Rs 1107.82 crore for quarter under review from Rs 993.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
