MOIL revises prices of various grades of manganese ore for Jan-Mar quarter

MOIL has revised prices of various grades of manganese ore for January-March quarter effective from February 01, 2017. The prices have been decreased by 10% on the existing prices prevailing since January 1, 2017, of all Ferro Grades of ore, while the prices have been decreased by 15% on all grades of SMGR (Mn 30%) and SMGR Low (Mn 25%) on the prevailing prices.

Besides, the prices have been decreased by 15% on all grades of Fines on the prevailing prices since January 1, 2017, while the prices have been decreased by 10% of all chemical grades ore on the prevailing prices. Further, there is no change in the price of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD).

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
