Kalpataru Power moves higher on bagging orders worth Rs 823 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 290.60, up by 3.10 points or 1.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 287.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 288.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 295.00 and Rs. 287.45 respectively. So far 5535 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.00 on 06-Feb-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 160.00 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 298.00 and Rs. 267.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4460.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.75% and 12.80% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has secured new orders/notification of award of Rs 823 crore. Of total, the company has bagged the transmission line construction project in West Africa of around Rs 737 crore and also won construction of 220 kv GIS substations project for Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPNL) of around Rs 86 crore.
