City Union Bank reports 12% rise in Q3 net profit

City Union Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The Bank has reported 12% rise in its net profit at Rs 126.62 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 113.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 12.17% at Rs 953.81 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 850.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal increased to 2.98%, as compared to 2.37% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.72% in Q3FY17.
