Andhra Bank reports 65% jump in Q3 net profit

Andhra Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The Bank has reported 64.54% jump in its net profit at Rs 56.70 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 34.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 4.40% at Rs 5012.86 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 4801.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal increased to 11.88% as compared to 7.00% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 6.98% in Q3FY17.
