NLC India reports stellar Q3 numbers

NLC India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company has reported around 19-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 336.17 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 17.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 39.07% at Rs 1964.21 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 1412.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

NLC India is engaged in the business of lignite mining and power generation.
