Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 105.60, up by 1.35 points or 1.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 104.25 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 104.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 105.60 and Rs. 104.00 respectively. So far 5094 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 116.50 on 31-Jan-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.40 on 15-Mar-2016.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 112.65 and Rs. 103.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1573.01 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.21%, while institutions and non-institutions held 25.97% and 15.82% respectively.
GIPCL has commissioned two more Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of 1.5 MW each located at the Kotadapitha Wind Farm Site, Amreli district, in Gujarat for which Certificate of Commissioning has been issued by Gujarat Energy Development Authority (GEDA). Accordingly, the total capacity of Kotadapitha Site is 15 MW (10 WTGs x 1.5 MW).
Besides, on account of financial constraints faced by Leitwind Shriram Manufacturing (LSML), Chennai, the EPC Contractor, the said 27 MW Kotadapitha Wind Farm Site has been downsized and truncated at 15 MW (1.5 MW x 10 WTGs). Accordingly, the Alteration/Variation Order (AVO) dated November 22, 2016 for the downsized capacity has been issued by GIPCL to the EPC Contractor.
