PBM Polytex skyrockets on registering many-fold increase in Q4 net

PBM Polytex is currently trading at Rs. 25.85, up by 4.05 points or 18.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 21.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 24.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 26.15 and Rs. 24.20 respectively. So far 4986 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 45.30 on 16-May-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.00 on 25-Nov-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 27.30 and Rs. 21.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.18% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.21% and 24.60% respectively.

PBM Polytex has reported results for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The company has posted about 35-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 4.15 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 0.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 19.01% at Rs 56.64 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 47.59 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
