Vinati Organics has reported results for the quarter and the year ended March 31, 2011.
The company’s net profit for the fourth quarter has surged by 43.77% at Rs 16.72 crore as compared to Rs 11.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Its income from operation has jumped by 40.58% at Rs 87.64 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 62.34 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
The company has registered a growth of 29.80% in its net profit for the year ended March 31, 2011 at Rs 51.97 crore as compared to Rs 40.04 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. Its income from operation has increased by 35.16% at Rs 313.70 crore for the year from Rs 232.10 crore in previous year.
Vinati Organics has recommended a dividend of 65% on the share capital of the company i.e. Rs 1.30 per equity share of face value of Rs 2 each for the year ended March 31, 2011, subject to approval by the shareholders of the company in ensuing Annual General Meeting.
