Minda Industries moves higher on inking JV agreement with Katolec Corporation

Minda Industries is currently trading at Rs. 397.55, up by 4.20 points or 1.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 393.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 399.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 403.55 and Rs. 395.55 respectively. So far 9055 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 405.35 on 01-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 148.30 on 24-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 403.55 and Rs. 375.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3157.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.46% and 19.52% respectively.

Minda Industries has signed the Joint Venture (JV) Agreement with Katolec Corporation, Japan to manufacture the products including high end electronics like Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Box Build Assemblies. The Joint Venture Company is proposed to be set in Pune, Maharashtra.

Minda Industries offers a range of products across various verticals of auto components, such as switching systems, acoustic systems and alloy wheels, among others.
