Eveready Industries India has entered into air purifiers segment by launching two models of air purifiers, under the brand name 'Eveready Appliances'. Both these models are equipped with Activated Carbon Filter, HEPA filter and UV sterilization for ensuring cleaner air. These air purifiers have been specifically designed for Indian conditions and will be available on e-retail, modern retail as well as the traditional forms of retail.
Eveready Industries India (formerly known as Union Carbide India) is the country’s largest dry cell battery maker. It also manufactures tea under the brands Tez, Jaago, Premium Gold and Classic and insect repellents under the brand Eveready Poweron. The company was founded in 1905 and is based in Kolkata, West Bengal.
