Kotak Bank advances on receiving nod to hike FIIs investment limit to 42%

Kotak Mahindra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 824.30, up by 7.00 points or 0.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 817.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 821.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 839.75 and Rs. 820.05 respectively. So far 2,77,67,274 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 839.75 on 08-Mar-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 631.50 on 15-Mar-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 839.75 and Rs. 803.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,51,660.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.61%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.31% and 21.08% respectively.

Kotak Mahindra Bank has received an approval to increase the ceiling limit for investment by FIIs/ subaccounts of FIIs, FPIs, QFIs, NRIs and PIOs in the equity share capital of the bank, from 40% to 42%. The Board of Directors of the Bank has approved for the same, subject to statutory / regulatory approvals as may be necessary.
