Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3,90,220.74 crore on March 21 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 51,52,956.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 12,344.09 crore, Stock Futures Rs 43,181.69 crore and Index Options Rs 3,03,637.14 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 31,057.83 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.81, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.86 and that of Stock Options was 0.51.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Kotak Mahindra Bank (1.30), HDFC Bank (1.15), Ultratech Cement (1.04), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (1.03) and Indusind Bank (1.03).
Among most active underlying, Idea Cellular witnessed an addition of 3.08 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Yes Bank witnessing a contraction of 0.08 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Reliance Industries witnessed an addition of 0.28 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Divi's Laboratories witnessed an addition of 2.49 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract and Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.06 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract.
