Union Bank of India (UBI), country’s largest public sector lender has inaugurated its first UnionXperience branch to facilitate improved experience to its customers. The bank has located this branch at the VIP township of Salt Lake in Kolkata.
UnionXperience branch will offer faster service to customers by reducing their waiting time. Bank's Chairman and Managing Director, Debabrata Sarkar, has inaugurated the branch on May 18, 2012.
Recently, UBI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tata Motors for financing their commercial vehicles in India. The bank will provide loan up to 85% to eligible borrowers on merit for a maximum tenure of 5 years at a very competitive rate of interest.
