Ashoka Buildcon reports 33.23% rise in Q4 net profit

Ashoka Buildcon has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On the standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 33.23% in its net profit at Rs 44.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 33.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 7.40% at Rs 424.36 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 395.13 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 67.90% in its net profit at Rs 46.68 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 145.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  However, total income has decreased by 22.37% at Rs 468.29 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 603.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 23.31% in its net profit at Rs 104.48 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 84.73 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 11.89% at Rs 1337.96 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1195.81 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 40.01% in its net profit at Rs 124.77 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 207.99 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 15.11% at Rs 1500.03 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1303.07 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
