MOIL revises prices of various grades of manganese ore for Apr-Jun quarter

MOIL has revised prices of various grades of manganese ore for Q1 2017-18 (April-June, 2017) effective from April 1, 2017. The prices have been decreased by 15% on the existing prices prevailing since March 1, 2017 for the Ferro Grades having Mn Content 44% and above.

The prices have been decreased by 10% on the existing prices prevailing for the Ferro Grade having Mn Content 32% and above but less than 44%, while the prices have been decreased by 10% on all grades of SMGR (Mn 30%) and SMGR Low (Mn 25%) on the prevailing prices. Further, the prices have been decreased by 10% of all chemical grades ore on the prevailing prices, while the price remains unchanged on all grades of Fines and for Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD).

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
