Axis Bank gains on inking pact with GUS Holdings BV

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 494.50, up by 3.70 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 490.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 495.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 495.25 and Rs. 491.50 respectively. So far 65870 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 638.00 on 07-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 417.55 on 11-Apr-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 512.90 and Rs. 483.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 118359.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.23%, while institutions and non-institutions held 60.44% and 9.33% respectively.

Axis Bank has signed an agreement with GUS Holdings BV to sell 1.40 crore equity shares or 10% of total outstanding shares of Rs 10 a share face value of Experian Credit Information of India. Gus Holdings BV will buy the shares at Rs 45.7 a share, resulting in a total cash consideration of Rs 64 crore. The indicative time for completion of the transaction is June 2017.
