KEC International rises on bagging orders worth Rs 1,781 crore

KEC International is currently trading at Rs. 218.10, up by 6.60 points or 3.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 211.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 216.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 220.85 and Rs. 216.00 respectively. So far 38,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 220.85 on 05-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 111.20 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 220.85 and Rs. 187.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,667.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.21% and 16.92% respectively.

KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs 1,781 crore. Under Transmission & Distribution business, the company has bagged orders worth Rs 1,702 crore. The company bagged international orders worth Rs 1,270 crore, while domestic orders are worth Rs 432 crore. Domestic orders include contract from PGCIL for construction of 800 kV HVDC transmission line and construction and extension of 765/400 kV GIS/ AIS substations. The Cable & Solar business has secured various orders for cable supply/EHV cabling/rooftop solar projects worth Rs 79 crore.

KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. It has presence in the verticals of Power Transmission and Distribution, Cables, Railways, Water and Renewables.
