Wonderla Holidays is reportedly in the process of commissioning space theme ride based on virtual reality in Hyderabad park. In this regard the company will invest Rs 40 crore.
Moreover, the company is planning to invest Rs 350 crore in the Chennai park where the land acquisition is on the verge of being completed. The company is acquiring about 50 acre site near Mahabalipuram. The funding will be met through internal accruals and debt.
Wonderla Holidays is one of the largest operators of amusement parks in India. The company also owns and operates a resort beside its amusement park in Bangalore under the brand name ‘Wonderla Resort’ which has been operational since March 2012.
