Shriram City Union Finance slips after RBI imposes monetary penalty

Shriram City Union Finance is currently trading at Rs. 2281.65, down by 27.75 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 2309.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2305.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2305.50 and Rs. 2260.85 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2650.00 on 30-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1501.00 on 12-Apr-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2313.90 and Rs. 2210.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15,045.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.30% and 39.92% respectively.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a monetary penalty of Rs 20 lakh on Shriram City Union Finance, under section 58G(1)(b) read with sub-section 5(aa) of section 58B of the RBI Act, 1934 for violation of directions/orders issued by Reserve Bank of India from time to time.

Shriram City Union Finance has presence in the following business segments - loan Against Gold (LAG), Small Business Finance Loans (SBF), Auto Loans, 2-Wheeler loans, Personal Loans and Consumer Durables Loans.
