Jain Irrigation bags project worth Rs 569 crore in Karnataka

Jain Irrigation Systems has been awarded the Poorigali Integrated Micro Irrigation Project by Cauvery Neeravari Nigam, Government of Karnataka through National Competitive Bidding. The work order is for the project valued at Rs 569 crore is the largest micro irrigation project in India.

It is the unique project where 85% Water-Use Efficiency will be achieved and more than 15,000 farmers will be benefited from the project. The first project of its kind is based on the concept of ‘Resource to Root’. The project will be implemented in 18 months time.

Jain Irrigation Systems, its subsidiaries and associates are engaged in providing solutions in agriculture, piping, and infrastructure through manufacturing of Micro Irrigation Systems, PVC Pipes, HDPE Pipes, Plastic Sheets, Agro Processed Products, Renewable Energy Solutions, Tissue Culture Plants, Financial Services and other agricultural inputs.
