Indraprastha Gas strengthens on getting nod to raise foreign investment limit to 30%

Indraprastha Gas is currently trading at Rs 1070.20, up by 11.00 points or 1.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 1059.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 1069.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1077.00 and Rs 1066.05 respectively. So far 5548 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1084.00 on 20-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 555.50 on 06-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1084.00 and Rs. 1046.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15017.82 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.00% and 11.00% respectively.

Indraprastha Gas (IGL) has received an approval to increase foreign institutional investors (FIIs) / foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) shareholding limits from 24% of paid up equity share capital to 30% of the paid up share capital of the Company. The board of directors at their meeting held on April 27, 2017, has approved for the same.

IGL is engaged in distribution of CNG and PNG in Delhi. IGL laid the network for the distribution of natural gas in the National Capital of Delhi to consumers in the domestic, transport, and commercial sectors.
