Ceat has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.
The company has reported a fall of 27.30% in its net profit at Rs 70.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 96.58 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income from operations of the company increased by 4.44% at Rs 1620.16 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1551.27 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 33.25% in its net profit at Rs 60.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 91.21 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. However, total income from operations of the company increased by 4.99% at Rs 1641.29 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1563.21 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a fall of 18.52% in its net profit at Rs 362.73 crore as compared to Rs 445.18 crore in FY16. However, total income from operations of company increased by 4.21% at Rs 6376.52 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6118.73 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 17.19% in its net profit at Rs 330.86 crore as compared to Rs 399.54 crore in the previous year. However, total income from operations of company increased by 4.81% at Rs 6441.30 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6145.92 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
