Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has reported 3.60% fall in its total wheel rim sales to 11.50 lakh in April 2017 as compared to 11.93 lakh in April 2016. In terms of value, the company's gross turnover was Rs 115.73 crore in April 2017, as compared to Rs 121.93 crore in April 2016, recording a drop of 5% and achieved a Net turnover of Rs 102.14 crore in April 2017 as against Rs 109.62 crore in April 2016, recording a drop of 6.80%.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
