JSW Energy has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.
The company has reported a fall of 99.35% in its net profit at Rs 2.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 379.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 36.23% at Rs 1090.45 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1709.94 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 91.75% in its net profit at Rs 24.76 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 299.94 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. Total income of the company decreased by 27.38% at Rs 1935.29 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2664.87 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a fall of 83.52% in its net profit at Rs 194.75 crore as compared to Rs 1182.07 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company decreased by 30.21% at Rs 4369.52 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6260.71 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 57.37% in its net profit at Rs 622.51 crore as compared to Rs 1460.27 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company decreased by 15.70% at Rs 8480.43 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10059.60 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.
