Vijaya Bank trades high on the bourses

Vijaya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 84.45, up by 0.55 points or 0.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 83.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 84.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 85.00 and Rs. 83.70 respectively. So far 44847 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 85.00 on 05-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.65 on 01-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 84.80 and Rs. 76.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8380.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.33%, while institutions and non-institutions held 17.93% and 11.74% respectively.

Vijaya Bank has distributed loans to transgenders at Haveri in Karnataka. The Bank, in addition to providing vocational training to 19 transgenders, also provided financial assistance to them.
