Vijaya Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.
The Bank has reported around 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 203.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 71.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 8.56% at Rs 3504.73 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3228.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, the Bank has reported a rise of 96.56% in its net profit at Rs 750.48 crore as compared to Rs 381.80 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 8.28% at Rs 14030.72 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12957.44 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.
