Dena Bank declines on reporting net loss of Rs 575.26 crore in Q4

Dena Bank is currently trading at Rs. 44.90, down by 2.35 points or 4.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 47.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 47.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 50.00 and Rs. 44.30 respectively. So far 2596451 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 50.00 on 09-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 28.05 on 24-May-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 50.00 and Rs. 43.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3601.21 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.55%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.58% and 12.87% respectively.

Dena Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 575.26 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to a net loss of Rs 326.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank decreased by 8.46% at Rs 2612.08 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2853.35 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 863.63 crore as compared to a net loss of Rs 935.32 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of Bank increased marginally by 0.62% at Rs 11433.07 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 11362.53 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.
