Bharti Airtel has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.
The company has reported a net loss of Rs 15083.10 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, as against a net profit of Rs 1693.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 8.22% at Rs 14351.10 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 15635.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 69.22% in its net profit at Rs 470.60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, as compared to Rs 1529.00 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. Total income of the company decreased by 12.02% at Rs 21980.60 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 24983.10 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 9925.60 crore as against a net profit of Rs 7780.30 crore in FY16. However, total income of company increased by 3.29% at Rs 62460.60 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 60473.20 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
On the consolidated basis for the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a fall of 38.47% in its net profit at Rs 4241.40 crore as compared to Rs 6893.00 crore in the previous year. Total income of company decreased marginally by 1.07% at Rs 95588.90 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 96619.20 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
