GMR Infra gains on inking pact for divestment of Indonesian coal mining entities

GMR Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 16.75, up by 0.15 points or 0.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 16.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 16.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16.80 and Rs. 16.70 respectively. So far 63,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 18.60 on 25-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.25 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.45 and Rs. 16.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10,140.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.66%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.25% and 10.09% respectively.

GMR Infrastructure has entered into pacts for divesting stakes in its Indonesian coal mining entities. Two of its subsidiaries -- GMR Energy Netherlands BV and GMR Infrastructure Overseas -- have entered into conditional share purchase agreement with PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk, Indonesia. The pact is for selling a 100% stake. Besides, the company would sell mandatorily convertible bonds in PT Dwikarya Sejati Utama, PT Duta Surana Internusa, PT Unsoco and PT Barasentosa Lestari.

GMR Infrastructure engaged in generation of power, mining and exploration activities, development of highways, infrastructure development, such as development and maintenance of airports and special economic zone; construction business, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracting activities and operation of airports and special economic zones.
