Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, has inducted 42 electric scooters (e-scooters), 8 e-rickshaws and 3 compact CNG tower wagons in its maintenance fleet. In congested city areas, the e-scooters help reach destinations faster round the clock. These scooters can easily manoeuvre in crowded areas and can be parked in limited spaces without disturbing traffic. The scooters can also reach places where cars and trucks are not allowed.
