South Indian Bank reports marginal rise in Q4 net profit

South Indian Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.

The Bank has posted marginal rise of 3.52% in its net profit at Rs 75.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 72.97 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 6.73% at Rs 1608.42 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1506.94 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the Bank has posted a rise of 17.77% in its net profit at Rs 392.50 crore as compared to Rs 333.27 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of Bank increased by 8.03% at Rs 6562.64 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6074.62 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.
