Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, has inaugurated an any-time water RO plant at Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) Nagar metro station. The RO plant has been set up in association with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and has a capacity to purify and dispense 500 litres per hour (LPH) of clean drinking water to commuters, commuting on the yellow line, at a nominal cost of Rs1 per glass (300ml). The plant is fifth in the series as part of the MoU signed with the DMRC. Tata Power-DDL had previously set up water RO plants at Kashmere Gate, Kirti Nagar, Vishwavidyalaya and Jahangirpuri metro stations.
